Premier League predictions: Cardiff, Arsenal and Liverpool to win?

Man United vs Liverpool

Cardiff City vs Watford

This is a gameCardiff need to win and I believe they will be the more motivated team. Watford are the better side, but we are at this stage of the season where the motivation matters most.

Cardiff City to win: 2:1

West Ham vs Fulham

Unfortunately Fulham look like they are going back to the Championship. There is no shame in relegation in a Premier League, so competitive that even the biggest clouds would struggle. I believe that Cottagers need to start working on a long term plan on how to return to the Premier League.

The Hammers have created a solid foundations for the club to progress under Manuel Pellegrini. It looks to me that they will finish the season in style.

West Ham to win: 2:1

Burnley vs Tottenham

Burnley look like they will keep their place in the Premier League. A point at home against Spurs would be a very good result for them considering the fact that they welcome a title contender.

It is a game that Tottenham should find a way to win to keep the pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City. I thin that Spurs have a chance either to win to league or to finish as runners up. Why? Because whoever of Liverpool or Man City slips, might end up 3rd as there is no big difference in the points between the top 3 teams.

Tottenham to win: 0:1

AFC Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton

I think that this a game that neutral football fans will enjoy watching. The reason is that those two are teams that like playing a lot with the ball and enjoy attacking their opponents on the pitch.

Wolves are a little bit better and my feeling is that they will finish above Bournemouth rah the end of the season. However I’ll go for a draw here.

Draw: 2:2

Newcastle Vs Huddersfield

This is an opportunity for Newcastle to add 3 very important point to their scoresheet. Unlike Huddersfield who can consider themselves relegated, Newcastle are still endangered of relegation and they could avoid it.

Newcastle to win: 2:0

Leicester City vs Cristal Palace

Both teams still have a lot to play for. Palace are closer to the relegation zone and although they don’t look like a team to loose their Premier League status, they still have a lot of point to pick.

Claude Puel creates a solid team at Leicester but the players need to prove themselves to the fans.

Leicester to win: 2:1

Chelsea vs Brighton

It is nothing else but a must win for Chelsea, whose chances to finish in the top for will be badly damaged from they drop points. Brighton aren’t that good on the road, so I expect the Blues to win.

Chelsea to win: 2:0

Arsenal vs Southampton

The Gunners did their job against BATE Borisov in the UEFA Europa League and now need 3 points to continue chasing for a top 4 finish. Unay Emery is transforming Arsenal step by step and I think he will take the Gunners back to the top 4, if not this season, then the next one.  In the like of Denis Suarez,  Emery has added another midfielder to its squad. The Spaniard is a very good replacement for the outgoing Aaron Ramsey.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Even the revitalized Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskaer is a team under development who’s a level below the Jurgen Klopp’s led Liverpool. But this doesn’t matter a lot in those derby games where any team could win. not matter the current form or position in the table.

United play for themselves in this game and they know that if they win against Liverpool, they will increase their chances to finish in the top 4 and to return into Champions League next season. They are not looking to make any favors to Manchester City here.

If Liverpool want to finish at the top, they need to win each and every game until the ends of the season. The Red know that their rivals and current champions Manchester City are ruthless and will take advantage of every point lost by the Merseysiders.

Both teams are capable of winning this game. It looks to men that Liverpool have a little bit better chance to do that.

Liverpool to win: 1:2
